FAQ: Copy Protection
What types of iLok USB device can be used with your products?
The licenses for our products can be activated to 2nd generation iLok devices (aka "iLok 2"), or newer. First generation ("blue") iLok devices (aka "iLok 1") are not supported.
Legacy Copy Protection Support
As of April 2nd, 2017, we have phased out the eSellerate copy protection system in favor of the flexibility, compatibility, user-friendliness and security advantages the PACE system offers. All new purchases, bundles and trial versions use PACE as of this date. Users of previous, non-PACE protected versions can cross-grade free of charge.
We have supported the eSellerate versions until now. However, eSellerate has recently ceased to offer activation services. As a result, pre-PACE versions of UNVEIL. UNFILTER, UNCHIRP and PITCHMAP can no longer be activated, and performing the free cross-grade is now necessary to keep using these plugins.
