FAQ: Copy Protection
What copy protection system do your plugins use?
All current, Zynaptiq-branded plugins use PACE copy protection, and require a free ilok.com account. For more information on this copy protection system, please refer to other entries in this FAQ as well as to the official PACE website at ilok.com.
Previous versions UNVEIL, UNFILTER, UNCHIRP and PITCHMAP used eSellerate copy protection. As of April 2nd, 2017, this copy protection system is being phased out in favor of the reliability, ease-of-use and security benefits of PACE.
Legacy Copy Protection Support
As of April 2nd, 2017, we have phased out the eSellerate copy protection system in favor of the flexibility, compatibility, user-friendliness and security advantages the PACE system offers. All new purchases, bundles and trial versions use PACE as of this date. Users of previous, non-PACE protected versions can cross-grade free of charge.
We have supported the eSellerate versions until now. However, eSellerate has recently ceased to offer activation services. As a result, pre-PACE versions of UNVEIL. UNFILTER, UNCHIRP and PITCHMAP can no longer be activated, and performing the free cross-grade is now necessary to keep using these plugins.
