LOUD can be used on single tracks, beefing up bass lines, making synths sit in the mix better, giving strummed acoustic guitars a tighter attack and more sparkle, levelling vocals easily, generally reigning in your sounds, and putting them in a good place quickly.

Actually, you may want to insert it on all your project's tracks, then simply adjust MODE, TONE and DRIVE to taste per track...you'll be surprised how far this takes you! Even when your tracks are already optimized or slammed, you'll typically still get a little something extra out of LOUD.

For mix buses, LOUD gives you a more compact and together sound, without the need for manually tuning compression time constants, thresholds, or ratios every time your sources change (well, you may want to adjust DRIVE if changing stuff around a lot, of course).

For the master, it's an easy, free couple of dB, and another color/element for your (probably very elaborate) chain.

In post and sound design, LOUD makes your sound effects and designed assets sound fuller, so they cut through loud action scenes more easily.
