FAQ: Copy Protection

I want to keep using the non-PACE versions of UNVEIL, UNFILTER, UNCHIRP, PITCHMAP or ZAP v1 – can I do so and what does it mean for support for my software?

Unfortunately, eSellerate no longer provides activation services. As a result, the pre-PACE versions of UNVEIL, UNFILTER, UNCHIRP and PITCHMAP can no longer be activated. To keep using these titles, please perform the free crossgrade to the PACE-protected versions.

Legacy Copy Protection Support

As of April 2nd, 2017, we have phased out the eSellerate copy protection system in favor of the flexibility, compatibility, user-friendliness and security advantages the PACE system offers. All new purchases, bundles and trial versions use PACE as of this date. Users of previous, non-PACE protected versions can cross-grade free of charge.

We have supported the eSellerate versions until now. However, eSellerate has recently ceased to offer activation services. As a result, pre-PACE versions of UNVEIL. UNFILTER, UNCHIRP and PITCHMAP can no longer be activated, and performing the free cross-grade is now necessary to keep using these plugins.
