FAQ: Copy Protection
I want to activate a new computer's HD, but entering my activation code doesn't work, stating that "the code redemption limit has been reached" – what do I do?
With PACE HD activation, the activation code is used just once – and in the process is swapped for a License Asset. This License Asset can then be activated to (read: moved to) a location. The location can be either an iLok 2 or newer USB device, or the HD of a computer.
Moving the license to a new system when using HD activation thus requires moving the license file from the old to the new system. To do this, simply use the iLok License Manager application to de-activate the license on the old machine (which moves the license into your account), then use the iLok License Manager application on the new machine to activate it to its HD.

Should you no longer have access to the computer that holds your license, please let our support team know and make sure you include your iLok account user ID.
Legacy Copy Protection Support
As of April 2nd, 2017, we have phased out the eSellerate copy protection system in favor of the flexibility, compatibility, user-friendliness and security advantages the PACE system offers. All new purchases, bundles and trial versions use PACE as of this date. Users of previous, non-PACE protected versions can cross-grade free of charge.
We have supported the eSellerate versions until now. However, eSellerate has recently ceased to offer activation services. As a result, pre-PACE versions of UNVEIL. UNFILTER, UNCHIRP and PITCHMAP can no longer be activated, and performing the free cross-grade is now necessary to keep using these plugins.
