FAQ: Copy Protection
I want to start a trial, but am being asked for an Activation Code – what am I missing?
To start a free trial, please select TRY when the Activation Wizard window opens, and not ACTIVATE. TRY will generate a trial license and deposit it to either the HD of your computer or a connected iLok 2 or newer USB device, depending on your choice.

Legacy Copy Protection Support
As of April 2nd, 2017, we have phased out the eSellerate copy protection system in favor of the flexibility, compatibility, user-friendliness and security advantages the PACE system offers. All new purchases, bundles and trial versions use PACE as of this date. Users of previous, non-PACE protected versions can cross-grade free of charge.
We have supported the eSellerate versions until now. However, eSellerate has recently ceased to offer activation services. As a result, pre-PACE versions of UNVEIL. UNFILTER, UNCHIRP and PITCHMAP can no longer be activated, and performing the free cross-grade is now necessary to keep using these plugins.
